The Glory of the Chinese Descendants
The colorful lighting which shines at the metro station is The Glory of the Chinese Descendants by Foon Sham. The wall sculpture serves as a gateway to historic Chinatown. The materials and colors represent common objects found in traditional Chinese culture including, fans, chopsticks, rice paper and lanterns. The wall sculpture can be found at the 7th and H Street/Chinatown entrance of the metro station.
