Metro Parking

All Day Parking: There are 5,169 parking spots. Cost/day is $4.50. Parking fees are collected upon exit from 10:30 a.m. to Metro closing hours. Parking fees can be paid using SmarTrip Card and credit cards.

Short-term Metered Parking: There are 71 parking spots. Parking is available in Section B from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m., and in Section D from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The rate is $1.00 per 60 mins. Meters at short-term parking spaces accept only quarters and $1 coins.

Additional spaces and costs: The North Kiss & Ride lot (Northside of I-66 at Virginia Center Blvd.) has 45 short-term metered spaces. The South Kiss & Ride lot (Southside of I-66 at Saintsbury Drive) has 26 short-term metered spaces. There are 101 spaces metered for a maximum of 12-hours @ $1.00 per 60 mins.; and 17 spaces metered for a maximum of 7-hours @ $1.00 per 60 mins. Parking is available from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Reserved Parking: There is reserved parking at 2900 Nutley Street. The reserved rate is $65. Monthly permit holders are required to pay the daily fee each time they park. (The daily fee is in addition to the $65 monthly permit fee).

Free Parking: Free parking is available at Metro parking lots and garages on weekends and federal holidays.


Bus Connections

The Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Station connects passengers to other areas in Virginia. Particularly, passengers can transfer to WMATA Metrobus, CUE Bus and Fairfax Connector. Note: All Metrobuses and Fairfax Connector buses board and discharge passengers at bus stops on the South Side of I-66.
