Metro Parking
All Day Parking: There are 1820 parking spots. Cost/day is $5.10. Parking fees are collected upon exit from 10:30 AM to Metro closing hours. Parking fees can be paid using SmarTrip® and credit cards.
Short-term Metered Parking: None.
Additional Spaces: East - 42 short term meters at $1.00 per 60 mins. West - 21 short term meters at $1.00 per 60 mins.
Reserved Parking: There is reserved parking at East and west sides of Calvert Rd. at CSX/MARC RR between. Rt. 1 & Kenilworth Ave. The reserved rate is $65. Monthly permit holders are required to pay the daily fee each time they park. The daily fee is in addition to the monthly permit fee.
Bus Connections
The College Park-U of Md Station is located at a half-mile walk up Paint Branch Parkway from campus. However, university shuttle buses and Metrobuses serve the station.
The metro station also is on MARC's Camden Line, which provides commuter rail service on weekdays between Union Station in Washington DC and downtown Baltimore. A MARC ticket office is open from Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM at the University of Maryland Stamp Student Union.
