Metro Platform

The Braddock Road Metro Station has 1 island platform and 2 tracks. It is served by one pair of escalators and one elevator. Each Blue and Yellow Line trains go in two directions named for the last stop on the line.

Washington DC Metro Blue Line: Franconia-Springfield --- Largo Town Center

The Blue Line goes in two directions: Franconia-Springfield and Largo Town Center.

Washington DC Metro Yellow Line: Huntington --- Mt Vernon Sq / 7th St-Convention Center / Fort Totten

The Yellow Line goes in two directions: Huntington and Fort Totten. However, the last station is Mount Vernon Square / 7th Street - Convention Center during peak hours. On weekdays, peak hours are from 5:30-9:30 a.m. and 3-7 p.m. On weekends, peak hours are from 2 a.m. to closing.

Metro Parking

There are no reserved parking spots. Also, the metro station only has 8 short-term metered parking spots at the Kiss & Ride lot. Parking is available from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 2 a.m. Meters at short-term parking spaces accept only quarters and $1 coins.

Bus Connections

The Braddock Road Metro Station is served by two bus systems: WMATA Metrobus and Alexandria's DASH System. The map below shows you where to board your bus. There are five bus stops labeled A, B, C, D, E.

The information belows shows that bus stop "A" serves the following DASH busses: 3 (towards Pentagon), 4 (towards Pentagon), 3/4 (towards Park Fairfax) while bus stop "B" serves WMATA metrobuses: 9E (towards Pentagon), 10A (towards Pentagon), 10B (towards Ballston) and 10E (towards Pentagon).

Similarly, bus stop "C" serves WMATA metrobuses 10A (towards Hunting Towers) and 10B (towards Hunting Towers), while bus stop "D" serves DASH busses 3 (towards Hunting Towers), 4 (towards Old Town) and 3/4 (towards Old Town). Finally, bus stop "E" is served by DASH buses 2 (towards Lincolnia) and 5 (towards Van Dorn Street).
