The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has two buildings: HQ1 visitors' entrance is at 720 19th St NW, and HQ2 visitors' entrance is at the corner of 19th St and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Farragut West Station on the Orange, Blue and Silver Lines, is the closest station to the IMF building. The station is about 3 blocks away. Leave Farragut West via the 18th Street Exit. Another alternative on the Red Line is Farragut North Station at about 3-to-4 blocks from the IMF building. Leave Farragut North via the K Street Exit. See the map below for suggested routes.

From Farragut West Metro Station Approximately 0.2 mile, 4 min walk Leave the station via the 18th Street Exit. Walk west on I (EYE) Street one block to 19th Street. Go left (south) on 19th Street and continue across Pennsylvania Avenue

From Farragut North Metro Station Approximately 0.5 mile, 11 min walk Leave the station via the K Street Exit. Walk West for two blocks on K Street NW until you reach 19th Street, NW. Go left (south) on 19th Street and continue across Pennsylvania Avenue.
