Hours of Operation

Metrobus 5A leaves the airport every 40 to 60 minutes on weekdays and hourly on weekends. The hours of operation are:

Monday to Friday: 5:50 a.m. - 11:40 p.m.
Saturday to Sunday: 6:32 a.m. - 11:40 p.m.

The bus route from the District of Columbia to Dulles International Airport is listed bellow:

L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station: Wait for Metrobus 5A at Bus Stop "J". The bus stop is located on D Street between 7th and 6th Streets in front of the Constitution Center Building (see the map below).

Rosslyn Metro Station: Wait for Metrobus 5A at Bus Stop "A". The bus stop is near the intersection of Moore St and 19th St (see the map below).

From Dulles International Airport

The bus route from Dulles International Airport to the District of Columbia is listed below:

Dulles International Airport: As you leave the airport, follow the signs for "Baggage/Transportation". At Door 4, go down the ramp and exit. Cross to the middle and board the Metrobus 5A at Bus Stop 2E at the Ground Transportation Area (Taxicab level).

Metrobus 5A will drop you off on D St between 6th and 7th Street in front of the Metro train entrance of L'Enfant Plaza Station.
