Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter Station is the closest metro station to the Newseum. From the station, it is approximately a 4-minute walk. Another alternative on the Red Line is Judiciary Square Station. Judiciary Square has two exits. On weekdays, leave the station through the 4th Street Exit. On weekends and when the other exit is closed, leave the station through the F Street Exit. You could end up blocks from the museum if you leave through the wrong exit. From Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter Station
Approximately 0.2 mile, 4 min
Museum Exit the station, turn left and walk toward Pennsylvania Ave.
Museum Head Turn left onto Pennsylvania Ave, walk toward the U.S. Capitol and cross 7th Street.

From Judiciary Square Metro Station
Approximately 0.4 mile, 7 min
Museum Leave the station through the 4th Street Exit.
Museum Walk south on 4th Street and turn right onto D Street.
Museum Walk one block west on D St and veer left onto Indiana Avenue.
Museum Continue west and turn left onto 6th Street.
On weekends and when the 4th Street Exit is closed, leave the station through the F Street Exit:
Museum Once you get out of the station, take a left onto F Street.
Museum Walk two blocks.
Museum Take a left onto 6th Street and walk three long blocks until you get to Pennsylvania Ave.
