U.S. Navy Memorial - Washington DC

Even when walking around the U.S. Navy Memorial at street level, the size of this monument is amazing. It spans three city blocks from 7th Street to 9th Street. The stone part of the memorial is surrounded on four sides by water. Each section of water has eight fountains which symbolize the exhaust from a submarine.
