The bus fare can be paid using a SmarTrip Card or cash. If paying in cash, exact change is required because Metrobus drivers do not carry cash. Paper farecards are not accepted.
Hours of Operation
Metrobus B30 leaves the BWI Marshall Airport every 40 to 60 minutes on weekdays and hourly on weekends. The hours of operation are as follows:
Monday to Friday: 6:54 am - 10:44 pm, every 40 minutes
Saturday to Sunday: 9:35 am to 10:45 pm, hourly

Metrobus B30
Metrobus B30 is an express bus connecting BWI Marshall Airport to the Greenbelt Metro Station. From the station, you can connect via Metro to DC or Northern Virginia.
Important Facts
Metrobus drivers do not help passengers with their bags. If you need help with your luggage, you will have to rely on the kindness of strangers.
The bus does not have a luggage compartment under the bus like a Greyhound bus or Megabus.
Metrobus drivers do not have change. Payment can only be made using a SmarTrip Card or cash. If using cash, exact change is required. Paper farecards are not accepted.
MARC Train
An alternative to Metrobus B30 is the MARC Train. To get to BWI Marshall Airport, ride the Metro from your nearest station to Union Station on the Red Line. At Union Station, take the MARC train to the BWI Marshall Airport.
To get to DC from BWI airport, take the MARC train. Note: the MARC train does not operate on weekends.
