Newseum is located near the Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter Station on the Green and Yellow lines of the Metro System.

Newseum is also within walking distance of the Judiciary Square Station on the Red line. Judiciary Square has two exits. On weekdays, leave the station through the "4th Street Exit". On weekends and when the other exit is closed, leave the station through the "F Street Exit". Use the map and directions below to find suggested routes to the museum.

From Archives-Navy Memorial-Penn Quarter Metro Station
Approximately 0.2 mile, 4 min
Newseum Exit the station, turn left and walk toward Pennsylvania Ave.
Newseum Head Turn left onto Pennsylvania Avenue, walk toward the Capitol and cross Seventh Street.

From Judiciary Square Metro Station
Approximately 0.4 mile, 7 min
Newseum Leave the station through the "4th Street" exit.
Newseum Walk south on 4th Street and turn right onto D Street.
Newseum Walk one block west on D St and veer left onto Indiana Avenue.
Newseum Continue west and turn left onto 6th Street.
On weekends — and when the 4th Street exit is closed — use the F Street exit:
Newseum Once you get out of the station, take a left onto F Street.
Newseum Walk two blocks.
Newseum Take a left onto 6th Street and walk three long blocks until you get to Pennsylvania Ave.
