Outdoors, the Botanic Garden's National Garden offers a beautiful setting for relaxing during the day. The National Garden features four gardens: a seven-bed regional garden featuring plants native to the mid-Atlantic Piedmont and Atlantic Coastal Plains; a First Ladies' Water Garden; a formal rose garden; and a butterfly garden.
