Farragut Crossing

Farragut Crossing is a "virtual tunnel" between two Metro stations: Farragut West Station and Farragut North Station that gives passengers the option to transfer above ground between the Red and Blue/Orange lines. A customer with a SmarTrip® Card can exit either Farragut North or West, walk a short distance above ground and re-enter the system at the other Farragut station without having to pay any extra fees.

Metro Platform

The Farragut West Metro Station has two side platforms and two tracks. Each train goes in two directions named for the last stop on the line.

Washington DC Metro Orange Line: Vienna/Fairfax-GMU --- New Carrollton
The Orange Line goes in two directions: New Carrollton and Vienna/Fairfax-GMU.

Washington DC Metro Silver Line: Wiehle-Reston East --- Largo Town Center
The Silver Line goes in two directions: Wiehle-Reston East and Largo Town Center.

Washington DC Metro Blue Line: Franconia-Springfield --- Largo Town Center
The Blue Line goes in two directions: Franconia-Springfield and Largo Town Center.
